You Turn

Repentance is perhaps the most misunderstood word in Christian vernacular. Because of fear of vitriol often associated with the word, no one wants to hear someone telling them they need to repent. Yet, Jesus began his early ministry with these words, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near” (Matthew 4:17). In fact, God cares so much about repentance that he dedicated an entire book in the Bible to it. Contrary to popular opinion, the book of Jonah teaches us that not only is repentance good but it can lead to tremendous life transformation and great movements of God. In our new series “You Turn” we will learn how to apply repentance and give motion to the notion, “God is not done with me yet.” So, come join us, just as you are and then come turn with us and become all God meant you to be.
